What did you do today non-detailing related?

I did a bit of yardwork.

Installed a new Blink Security Camera System with just one camera for now. It's their new v2 outdoor product and in just the first evening with it, I will say the quality of the images are pretty nice. It could be that the driveway has plenty of light but this camera captures in color even now just before midnight. Our other ADT Cameras link to their system are good too but not quite as sharp/detailed at night. I look forward to testing it's responsiveness to motion, etc.

For now we have three systems, Ring, ADT and now Blink and while I don't mind running different systems, it will be interesting to see which one works best. Ring thus far is great too but I can't wait to upgrade to their 1080p version. When I do I'll be moving the original to our back door on the patio, not so much for a doorbell of course, but for the camera and motion sensor recording, etc.

My how far tech has come over the years.
 
We just got Vivint a few weeks back and it’s crazy I agree how good these cameras are

Just did my second rinse less on the outback. Used ultimate quik wax on it, stoners tire shine on the tires.

I rotated the tires today, and waxed the barrels and faces of the wheels with two layers of collinite 476, should be well protected until this winter.

We're getting the tires rotated on my wife's Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SE right now, first one @5400 miles. The guy at Discount Tire didn't even know what her ride was, LOL, kinda cool having something "unique" like this

Used the wifes ride to bring our precious cargo home. 2yr old is being a menace, she isn’t even kind of impressed we brought him home. Will be a fun transition. Then I let the yard dry out some and mowed my crazy tall grass and weed whacked. Tomorrow bushes are getting trimmed and some dead stuff and stuff we don’t care for is coming out.

With my son, drove my Miata down to Moss Motorfest in Petersburgh, VA. 250 miles round trip.
Took the back roads coming back. Got home, took a nap, woke up then washed and shine the car.

Went fishing at 8 am,then took grandkids for a boat ride on Lake Wallenpaupack, followed by nerf games outside, then baseball with them, then a short ride on the wave runner, finally had dinner at 5:15. Great day with the grandkids, again. I am toast
 
Marky, now THAT'S a quality day!

I changed the oil in both mine and the wifey's car, then installed new Bosch Icon wipers on both.

What did you think of the stripes on the RF

Reorganized my garage. I got a screaming deal on a new Husky rolling workbench. That motivated me to clean up this pile of “stuff” and sell my Husky air compressor and buy a smaller and quieter one. Now I’ve got to organize my new workbench. It sure is nice to have so much area for my detailing products even though I don’t do as much as I used to.
