What did you do today non-detailing related?

I fixed garage door today. I bought welder recently and decided to fix it by myself. Not so easy task, I must say. I found reviews about tig welders on protoolsadviser and decided to buy one for home use. Useful stuff in the house.
 
Drove to the gym today... first time I drove my car in a week.
The gas pedal seemed off... I couldn’t depress it all the way. The floor mat was definitely pushed farther up than normal but they are laser cut and fit perfectly... they are Husky. Never had an issue before?

Got home and decided to check the Escape... last time I cleaned the interior of my car I cleaned the Escape’s mats as well.

Yup... had swapped the driver side mats by accident.

Damn :doh:

Taking a much needed long weekend away in Newport RI. Staying at the Hotel Viking on Bellevue Ave. Went to the Marble House mansion built by the Vanderbilt's, Audrain car museum and ate a bunch.

I love that part of Rhode Island beautiful scenery around the water there. Then again I haven’t anything in New England so far I don’t like.

Newport is incredible.

Haven't been right in the town (passed it many times) for about 5-6 years.

Is the Brick Alley Pub still running? That place is top-notch!!

My best friend’s son is finally old enough to do some real fishing.

Plum Gut between Orient and Plum Island can be pretty hairy, but we got Luke on his first big (ish) Bluefish.

Squeze the trigger daviddear30. And make sure your center of your trigger finger is rightly placed so when you triggering you pull the trigger right backwards. Nice gun.


My niece got some new shoes in fabric material the old basketball shoes looks in pink with unicorns on them. So uncle did protect them with the Carpro Fabric LOL. Will be interesting to see how it works on fabric shoes as I have heard great things about doing so. Will be cleaning up some of my shoes and test it out on them too. But easier to do when new and unused.

Just signed up to volunteer at my local car club’s annual Drive Out Hunger show in September.
