What did you do today non-detailing related?

Got some more done on our chicken coop.

Other than the camera, is it that much better than the iphoneX?

My 1st thought was I want to stay with an iPhone 8+... But then I found out this phone actually has a slightly larger screen than my iPhone 8+ while somehow having a slightly smaller footprint. Combine that with the fact that my 8+ has a cracked screen and throw in a killer deal and it made for an offer I couldn’t refuse.

I did a major upgrade to my computer that I first built back in 2009. It has new insides and I cleaned the case polished the scratches out of the window and gave it a coat of cancoat. Right now I am checking for stability while browsing. It's main duty is converting HD mpg files to mpr to save HD space.

I’ve been using iPhone for the past 10+ years.. It’s what I’m familiar with and while I’m not a fanboy, I haven’t had any complaints.

Same with me. I’d feel weird using anything else. Apple apparently has me hooked

I kept looking for a cleaner way to do oil changes. I have a vertical oil filter thats always full and always a mess to change. I even saw another thread on this topic which spurred more thought.

This is the idea I came up with.

A silicone measuring cup. Put around the oil filter after loosening it. Twist oil filter with this.
This should catch all oil and the oil filter

Wouldn't help on a horizontal oil filter but those are less messy anyways.

Bonus it is a 3 piece set and i can use the two smaller ones for detail supplies etc

Easily squished down to grab the filter.
It left this pic off the first post :-(

May have to try this as my envoy always makes a mess when i pull the filter off. Its vertical right near drain plug and sucks. Even have to remove the belly pan because its in the way. They really stuff the 5.3 in the bay to. Plugs sucked to change

Punch a hole in the old filter and let it drain into the pan before you take it off. ;)

Today, I finally found some free time to read about tuning professionally at some site and I hope that after that I will put cool bells and whistles on my car (for which there is enough money). Let's see, maybe just repaint;)

Has anyone else have a problem with Yelp with consistent cause?
