What did you do today non-detailing related?

Mounted wheels and tires for a coworker. Did some very minor plastic trimming of the inner fender liner near the cab corners. He was happy.

Did a chemical decon, clay, and megs hybrid ceramic wax 10 days ago. He is still tickled about it. And the wheels helped it. Told him he is gonna love keeping it clean with them hanging out past the fenders but to each there own.

Reinstalling the supercharger on my Foxbody. Need to get a couple bolts from Menards tomorrow so I can finish it up. Excited to have the power back.

When you have a large collection of hot wheels and matchbox cars you sometimes end up with duplicates, those I don't give to my nephews, I repaint. I just finished this Camaro ZL1, it started out like the red one.

Did you add tyre shine and a LSP

Time to do the lawn again, but first, replace the bump knob on the line trimmer, and change the spark plug in the mower. The one in the pic is the original, around 8 - 10 years old, doesn't look too bad. I try to remember to clean and reset it every year, but probably skipped some. Lawn done, time to walk the dogs before dinner.

I used the Bissell Revolution Pro Heat x2 to clean some rugs inside the house and hell yea! This thing kicks arse just like the Bissell Spot Pro, just in a bigger upright form. Look at this satisfying grime.

I installed my new steering wheel trim kit, bought on eBay. The old trim was scratched and faded, the previous owner wore rings and rested his hands there, the inside piece was so scratched I ended up painting them dark grey. It helps that the new pieces also match my gear knob. They have a bunch of other pieces available, but I didn't want to be that guy, you know him, changes everything to fake carbon fibre, or piano black. This was about hiding some damage.

Also, little tip, pull the horn fuse before you start pushing the pieces in to place, the horn is really loud inside the garage.

I've been working on this APC from Aliens. Can't decide whether I'm finished or not. Sometimes you can go too far with the weathering.
