What did you work on today?

Arrived to work at 7:00am, the car below arrived at 8:00am sharp, started this project at approximately 8:30am and the time stamp for this photo was approximately 7:37

1993 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6

From Wikpedia.org
Porsche released the 964 Turbo 3.6 in January, 1993, now featuring a turbocharged version of the 3.6 litre M64 engine and producing 360 PS (260 kW; 360 hp) @ 5500 rpm, the 3.6 litre powered Turbo was produced only for model year 1993/1994, with fewer than 1,500 of them produced in total, making it one of the rarest and most sought after Porsches produced since the 959.

After clicking on "Submit New Thread" I'll remove this first layer of sealant and than close down Autogeek's Show Car Garage for the night...

Tomorrow afternoon I'll put the frosting on the cake...

How about you? What did you work on today?

:)

How about you? What did you work on today?

I made some really nasty floor mats look like new again with DP Carpet Extractor Pre-Treatment a new carpet extractor I've been testing out. I think you saw me putting the power cord away :righton:

Washed my 05 Neon SRT4 and put down a coat of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0.

The interior of my 2007 Volkswagen GTI.

Adams carpet and upholstery.
Einzett cockpit premium.

The leather gets it tomorrow. Wolfgang leather cleaner and conditioner.

a four year old buick rendevous that the lady hadnt cleaned the interior in four years. a deep maroon red. 4.5 hours on vac and interior alone. also spent some quality time qd ing my own car.

...Washed a 2008 G37 for a friend. It was nasty!

Washed a Avalanche and then topped it with Blackfire. Cleaned the interior and tomorrow will do about 2-3 coats of something I forget the name of to restore the black plastic across the whole thing.

I washed my Colorado and dreamed of my new daily VIP GG polisher.

Washed my '08 silver Accord and applied a coat of Meg's NXT 2.0 using my G100. My recent Autogeek shipment arrived so I was excited to use my EZ detail brush to clean the wheel barrels and my Meg's APC to clean the tires!

Will be posting more pics tomorrrow!

hammered out a dent in my bumper(there when i bought the truck) so i could install a new fog light. after i finished i realized i had to polish the other one so it looked as good as the new one.corrected w/ megs uc,swirlx, and klasse twins. no pics but it came out real nice.

Gardening and tearing weeds out of overgrown flower beds around the house... followed by hauling bags of dirt and mulch in my truck.

:dig:

Washed my 2010 Synergy Green Camaro, 3rd coat of Meg's NXT 2.0
about 5 hours of work, tomorrow the inside! Turned on XM Radio "Hair Nation" and followed the shade around my driveway to keep the car out of the sun. Great day felt like I was 20 again! Next the Red Avalanche gets detailed on Monday. I love Holidays!!!

Unfortunately, I did not have time to work on a car today. Worked on my pool instead. Needed a lot of scrubbing. Too bad my Griots doesnt work under water. Might have made the job a lot easier.

BTW, the 93/94 911 Turbo is one of my favorite all time cars. It is on my someday list.

I worked the Wolfgang Twins followed by some Wolfgang sealant into my wife's 09 Black Civic Si. I washed the car Friday night so she was ready for some work today. Tomorrow, I'll add another coat of sealant. I also had some more time to put a cleaner on half the boat followed by Megs 45 and then 56. The boat is ready for the water tomorrow.

Fixed my Makita. The set screw had come loose on the black wire in the handle. Easy fix. :xyxthumbs:

Tomorrow I may ride my horse, since I got my Camaro I haven't gone riding. No time for all my toys. Hey anyone have any suggestions on how to get my hubby not to flip out when I want to make a $155 purchase for detailing towels and wax for my car? He thinks the stuff at Walmart is ok, says Microfiber and wax is wax...We had Meg's NXT 2.0 so have used that but want a nice top coat wax.

Unfortunately there was no time for car work today so I worked on feeding about 40 people today at a picnic at my house. Sunday I'll be attending a friends picnic and Monday, Memorial Day, my immediate family has a quite family picnic in honor of my father who served while in the Army in WW2, my father-in-law a Korea vet in the Marines, my brother was in the Army in Viet Nam and my son who is in the Marine Corps today and still stationed in the U.S.. God bless all our men and women who serve to keep us safe and maintain a standard of living that is second to none.

I performed a full detail on a medium blue 2009 Lincoln MKZ. M105/LC foamed wool followed by M205 with a LC orange pad with the Makita. LSP was Griots One Step Sealant via PC. I postponed delivery due to thunderstorms in the area and started on the most severely swirled black paint I've ever tackled, on a Mercury Marauder. So far lots of M105 via foamed wool, and I'm pretty disapointed with the results. Tomorrow will be a long day.

I spent the day cleaning windows in cars - the kids' and wife's.

No one knows how to do windows, or vacuum, around the house but me.

Oh yeah, checked the air pressure in the tires, too, since no one can count to 34 psi but me.
