What did you work on today?

I washed my S2000, laid down a second coat of Midnight Sun, and then dressed the tires with Surf City Garage Beyond Black. I also cleaned and dressed the vinyl dash and interior trim with M40.

Washed and waxed the Lambo yesterday. Wanted to take a drive out to the eastern end of Long Island Sunday with the wife for some clams and lobster. Well....... got about 3/4 of the way there, stopped so wifey could use the restroom and @Q$^ a flat. $350 flatbed later, no clams, no lobster, no fun! Guess I'll shine up the DD tomorrow, take my mind off the disaster.

Since I'm still recovering from a fractured vertebra(L3), which required a fusion, I only did the hood and trunk on my Z4 roadster. First the clay bar, then the Pinnacle paint cleanser. And then the wax. The bright red looks great!
Today, I had to place a order to take advantage of the sale to get more stuff that I "need".

My sister went to her camp for the holiday weekend and asked me to check in on her cats while she was gone. She left her cars at her place so I decided to do some work on her 96 Mustang while she was gone as a surprise.

The car got a $1500 paint job last year and was looking really sorry so I did a pass with a new compound from Poorboy's World (SYN 1) and then a pass with PWS allowed 6 hours cure time then applied a coat of Natty's Red. This smoothed the paint out a little. She will surely be surprised tomorrow when she get's back.

Did some paint correction on my oxidized White 2003 Xterra.

-Washed
-Clayed with Meguiars Clay Kit
-Taped all rubber and plastics that surrounded painted areas
-M105 on a LC CCS 5.5" orange pad
-M205 on a LC flat white 5.5" pad
-PO85RD on a LC Blue 5.5" finessing pad
-One coat of DP Sealant via LC red pad

The process took around 8 hours to do just the paint correction to my saticefaction. Now I need to tackle all the faded plastics and rubber in the upcoming weeks. I will try to get some after pictures and upload the befores soon

here you can see how oxidized it was compared to how shiny the paint is underneith the hood bra. There was alot of damage underneith the bra.

I spent all day today doing a 2 step correction on this 2000 Lexus IS 300. This car has 153k original miles and is still going strong. It really turned out great. Here is a pic of me and the car that the owner took today when I was finished.
