What do for this scratch on new truck??

Wish I could find someone in my area fix it, when to body shop and he said they would have to take whole door off and paint it, and told me it wouldn’t be worth it and just get touch up paint and do it like you guy said, but I never done this before

Like I said, practice. Keep a rag with some paint thinner handy and remove immediately if your not satisfied. Keep doing it til you get it done, not that difficult.

Another option you maybe could try, it the 3M Quick Scratch&Scuff Repair Kit.
They have it here, and usually all major Auto Parts outlets carries this as well.

If you search some youtube vids of this product, you'll see it's fairly simple to use. And if used lightly you may be able to use it by hand, no machines needed.

Follow instructions, and just go slow when wiping with the 3000 grit Trizact Pad. Wet the area, wet the Pad, wipe a few times very lightly against the scratch, wipe with a clean towel, and continue a little bit more.
Just don't over-do it. Then take the polish creams to bring back gloss to the area.

Ok thanks I am gonna try start this pro tomorrow and take it slow Autogeekonline mobile app

I do a lot of touch up work for customers and found this inexpensive little handy tool on Amazon. Really really helps with being able to use a super fine brush that I've even used a razor blade to trim down to say 5 strands of the brush so when applying touch up paint I can literally stay within the chip or scratch. The steadiness of my hand is my limiting factor but so long as I have solid placement of the fist/palm I'm good.
