What do I need to legitimate my business?

I have seen that be used in place a lot and it is ok but you then are fully responsible for any and all taxes that the business gets... in most states taxes are due quarterly and if you don't pay there are some serious consequences... Having the SoS paperwork will allow them to nail you not the company... Have a quick look into it it will be worth the money and worth the while... My wife does LLC's and such if you are interested PM me...

I did some asking around. The way I am set up right now isn't going to be too much of a problem. I will only need to file taxes for my business once a year.

If everything goes well over the next 6-8 months though... I might upgrade a bit.

This was my operating cost for May (not including employees) for running my legit mobile business : 2,234.51 ...... not cheap

I have to agree. If you have the money to burn, by all means get legit. Me, I waited until I was getting a steady montly income. Things by themselves are inexpensive, just wait untul you start adding them up. The time you wait to become legit can cost you clients. Just do things as you go along...
