Well I actually go over to their dealership and wash all their cars I've polished.... I can't sleep thinking they'll get ruined. My turnaround is pretty good for the cars selling soon after I return them, so they like me haha.
I actually just ordered everything you showed on the Lexus step by step, Porter cable, flex backing pads, 6" and 4" LC CCS and Flat, whole pinnacle line and menz final inspection, probably more but can't remember. I'm so excited to try it.
The esc seems to be coming along well. Have the front clip finished. I'm finding it to be a difficult paint to work with. My usual porsche clients require far less of a cut to achieve the same results I'm seeing. I may charge more for these specifically just because of the required effort..
On that note, may I ask, what do you usually charge, or suggest I charge, for full exterior restorations like, for example, the Lexus you did. I use all the same techniques as you showed, bucket wash, dry, clay, full taping, then all the buffing stages. I'm the ONLY detailer in the city (of 1.2 million people) that does this comprehensive of work, so I have no one to compare to. Most places won't even put a polisher to a black car! And I think I counted 35 detail shops in the city, from bucket wash to actual detail dedicated.
Thanks for all your help! Feel free to PM info if you don't like making it public.
Much appreciated!
