What do you dry your car off with?

I use either the Green waffle weave guzzlers or the Gold HD waffle weave guzzler. But no matter what I usually end up using a spray sealant or wax or QD afterward to really bring back that "pop"

At first I was but I saw everyone here does it so I figured I'd give it a go. I've been doing it for 2 years now and I've never had dirt/dust get blown out. I do it both indoor and outdoor as well.

I might give it a shot - tx.

I am consistently drying my vehicles with mf drying towels from a big box retailer. However, my wife did buy me a Dayona wheel brush from Autogeek for Christmas.:xyxthumbs:

After a shower, I use a large bath towel. After washing my car, I use a waffle weave....on the car body, not mine.
Haha... But I'm ashamed to say I use a absorber my car always has WGDGPS though and I sheet as much water off then blot the spots dry then sometimes go over with Meg's ultimate spray wax when needed. Im pick up one of those 240mph electric leaf blowers from HD and some waffle weaves for this spring since I find myself washing my car at least 1-2 times a week during the summer.

Also can anybody help me, does the cobra and Meg's waffle weaves made of microfiber or terry towel? How soft are they really? I ask cause I seen some armor all waffle weave towel at WM and they are not microfiber and felt like they would marr the piss out of some paint.

haha.
armor all...the most hated name in the world of detailing.

I have used the guzzler and also the cobra 600's and like both. When doing a rinseless, I like to do a pass with a wet gold jr. cobra then finish off with the cobra 600. I just ordered some 600s on bogo!

Well, I wasn't saying I will be using the armor all WW I want to purchase some cobra or Meg's WW and wanted to know how soft are they cause if they are anything like the armor all WW I would rather stick with a chamois or microfiber.

metro master blaster. I hesitated with pulling the trigger but it has been one of the top 3 detailing products ive ever bought. if your truly worried about marring in my opinion this is the only 100% marr free drying technique. u wont be dissapointed and u will never give drying towels a 2nd thought.

how well does this thing work? currently i use a blower also

Step one to remove 90% of the water.....

Then I finish up with a waffle weave towel from Autogeek.

This process removes both the surface water 'and' the water hiding in, under, and around all the gaps and recesses, and limits the amount of rubbing on the paint.

So no one uses an air compressor to blow dry their car?
No. I tried it one time, but I need air 'volume' not 'pressure', so the leaf blower is IMO a much better solution. Also, a side benefit is that after the leaf blower runs for a while, the air circulating through it is heated by the blower itself which also aids the drying effort.

it worx like a charm...now that I have my technique down I can be ready to polish in 20 min, and not have to worry about the water drip from emblems, it works especially well for windows, no streaking or spotting. If your not polishing and want to go straight to tire shine u can and not have to worry about bonding issues like u normally would with damp tires.

Megs water magnet here.

Question, how many do you have? It seems to me that when I use the water magnet, it starts to streak after just a few panels. I've got two, and that just barely is enough to finish off my Mustang.
