What do you guys think is the strongest, most durable sealant?

As you see from my other post, there are a few inches on the roof of our green van where the cc s beginning to fail. I think I need to get the rest covered with something strong until it is sold. I have never really used sealants, so I was hoping for some feedback on which last well through sun exposure and heat.
Anyone?

Since you're selling it DG#105 will give you a combo of durability and bang for the buck.
 
If your looking to hide it, sealant won't really do anything, neither will wax, its going to stay noticeable. But I would say Duragloss 105 is your best bet, Zanio is pry the only one that will outlast but only if you do the full process and steps.
 
I just want to protect the paint around it, in hopes it does not spread.
Never tried the DG #105, but there are 2 votes for it! gracias, guys!

Duragloss 105 topped with any of the Collinites = bullet proof combo.
 
Nyalic would cover that damaged area mate
I've not yet tried all the sealants available worldwide but so far have tested wolfgang, poorboys, carlack 68, klasse, werkstatt, four star, prima, driven to perfection, fireglaze double strength and about to try glare infinity

Of all of them, fireglaze has eclipsed all and lasted eleven months with no QD or spray sealant at all. just wash and hydrophobic drying aid spray.

Hmm, never heard of fireglaze. Might you know if it is available in the US?:)

I have 915 and 845, used 845 couple times on one of the boats and waverunners, used 915 on a couple of our cars as I wanted something that was more durable as I don't have time for washing or anything right now. 915 is more durable then pretty much most of the sealants. And it looks good. I don't know what the heck they use in it to make a wax that durable.

Lauren, it really does not matter, you are selling it. Just use what you are using right now and keep topping that area say once a month. Voila, an LSP that never stops protecting for no extra cost.

Agree, if your selling or trading now, just put whatever on it as it's not going to go away and no way to hide clear coat failure anyway.
 
915 is what I have and love it.
FG is available in the US but this is an AG site so I'll leave it there.

Not only is it durable, but its very nice looking, for some reason I think too many people automatically assume b/c of how durable Collinite is that they think it will be stale looking or something. 915 is an excellent wax.
 
Back to the topic, Klasse twins will be the most durable sealant, with DG #105 taking second place.

ah, now that i do have.
you guys make a good point. problem is, it is waiting for my husband to put in the new carpet. i have no clue when, so in the meantime...peel away!:o
 
Klasse Twins dose not have the look of #105....You can top Klasse AIO with #105 for better looks.

yikes. then why bother to get up there? i should just push him to unload it.
We are just selling it off as we have too many - it runs wonderfully. No trade-in. They don't want it anyway - high mileage.

yes, I've noticed that it gives very sterile look.
