What do you personally do when rain is anticapated?

I live in the Northeast where it rained this past Monday so I didn't wash my car over the weekend. This weekend it suppose to shower or rain again. I will try to get a wash in on Friday knowing that it will get wet and dirty again. What would y'all do in this situation? I can't do it mid-week as I get home too late from work and it's just too dark out.

Take the wife's car? :D (lol)
I have been known to do such things, but then we have 2 extra vehicles....
What can you do?:o

If my car is due for a wash, but there's rain in the forecast, I'll still go ahead and wash it. Then once the rain has subsided I'll wash it again.

So will I.:applause: yah!
But if it actually is raining, and is about to again...
unless it is muddy or really bad, I am going to leave it. It is an exercise in futility. It will only look good in the garage till the rain passes, no?
:awesome: Im the MAN

i wash no matter what kind of weather its outside. Just washed the car today when it was snowing (washed in washing bay) the car is not "clean" when i come home, but its cleaner than it was.

I have washed manny times when it rains outside or i know it will rain. treat it like your body, you probably dont skip shower today if you will do a work out tomorow. right?

A work out isn't rain - it is sweat and you smell. GROSS!!
My car never has BO!!
lol
hee hee

You guys have OCD:D, if it rains, well it rains, if you have a good wax it will generally self clean like a free wash. I deffinitley don't wash before and after a rain here, not with how many vehicles we have lol:D. And the second I take a drive the water just beads right off.

If its gonna rain, I just try to beat the rain. Very rarely do I not wash at least once a week. I figure if its gonna rain then at least the water is falling on a clean car, so it won't look REALLY dirty. Plus I always follow up my washes with a booster like Crystal Mist.

Ha ha that is a crack up!
Heu, how about this? You wait 'till it is raining out to wash it so you can conserve water - just hold up your bucket with the shampoo in it?
Economical carwash!:D :D :D :D :awesome:

To complicated for me, I'll let the rain do the cleaning and the driving do the drying:D

I just let it rain, and wash when I find the time. I wish I had more time to detail. Sucks because my driveway doesn't get shady until 4PM and it is dark by 5.30PM.

No worries there.
I have been in San Diego at least 10 years this time around :applause:
I would not even think to dive my C6 or Stang when it rains here.
TOO many crazies :D

Fred

When it rains I take my Pagani Zonda, leave my truck at home.
