I use a mechanic's creeper stool. One to sit on with the better seat cushion. One to set the polisher on with the hard seat pad. I keep the pad brush and bottle of polish in the tray. But honestly every polisher I end up using on a car will usually end up on the floor at one time or another.

I actually use a little wagon (kinda like a garden cart) that I got for free sometime back. ...

Low-tech, but it works for me.

If it works....it works!! :)

Three tiered metal cart from Ikea. The casters suck.

Casters are so important for a pleasant user experience!

.I sweep and mop my epoxy floors after every single detail and I don't have employees so I'm able to keep the floors extremely clean.

Clean is good :xyxthumbs:

Kinda why I never looked into a cart. On a smooth garage floor, sure. But on my (not the newest) blacktop, I thought it'd be a nightmare to roll casters around.

My little cart has 8" pneumatic tires. (Off roaders) Lol

haha....off roaders on a cart!! NICE. The casters on the Griot's unit aren't bad. The Griot's and Megs carts are made by Luxor, I believe. I've used the Griot's in the office on carpet, at home on vinyl flooring, on concrete, and asphalt. No issues rolling. Just a bit bumpy at times on certain surfaces.

I feel the same- usually place them on their back on my rolling seat.

I did fab this up today, however. Its profile is very similar to the new kxk dynamics PR2, but the front holds 2 polishers, not one. I figured a little extra steel and about a half hours worth of fab work and it turned out pretty nice! I painted it tonight and plan on mounting it to my rolling cart tomorrow!

Very cool that you can do that!! With two polishers on there, I wonder if you will need some sort of brace down the middle so it don't want to bend forward (away from the wall/cart).
But post pics of the finished product! (If you have, I haven't seen it, still going thru this thread).

El Cheapo laundromat cart.
Cost - Free
Casters - Decent
Chance of tip over - Nill
Functionality - Pretty good
Wish it had - A bottom shelf + Surge strip to plug my stuff into.

El Cheapo works!

All those bottles remind me of another poll I've been meaning to start. Thanks!

was browsing the auction site and if you type in " mechanic tray cart " one of these pops up and for less than a $100 shipped...

I seen Mike P use similar in some photos he posts. I think he has such a cart in the AG shop.

Thanks for voting, all.

I'm OCD---It's either on the floor, on the creeper and sometimes on the cars...Grin...
