my mothers Instant Shine is almost gone so i need something new to try. i have no problems with the instant shine though., just wondering what everyone else uses
 
For clean ups (like bird bombs) I use Pooboy's Spray and Wipe and for QDing after washing I use Clearkote's Quickshine. :)

how about if you have some difficult wax or SG to remove, same stuff?

Yes same stuff. :) I also use Pinnacle's Crystal Mist after washing if I'm using a carnauba wax as my LSP. :)
 
i found my Instant Shine had no effect on getting off the extremely difficult to remove mothers pure caranuba :( only my PC with a bonnet could cut thru it. can is gone now and i used to do it all by hand, not sure how!!
 
i just started tp buy some crystal mist, had to know what all the hype was about. first thing i do woth almost all my products is give it the sniff test, crystal mist smells kinda like poorboys exp, coconutty and tropical, so it got an A+++ there! and it makes my liquid souveran shine just a little better, so, i gave in and bought a whole gallon of it!
 
PB Spray and Wipe and Megs. Final Inpsection are my two favorite. I use Pb more for cleaning and Megs more for shining.

I like Poorboys Spray and Gloss. Pretty slick and very shiny afterwards.
 
I too like PB's Spray and Gloss..... Very Very slick.....
S&W for light dirt..... S&G for added Pop....

Actually experimenting one day, I wanted to clean the hood of the car with some S&W, so I sprayed it on... THEN while the S&W was still on thereI hit it with a light spray of S&G and it made it MUCH Slicker!!!!! Seemed easier to take off instead of kinda rubbing the towel on the paint, it just slid across....
That will be my new S&W method for sure....
 
Duraglos #921 sometimes followed by AW--During the winter I use diluted ONR
 
I just got some Quickshine and love it, Super slick surface.
 
I've been using FK425 for a while now. Still liking it. :)
 
Use DP 4 in 1 as a QD for cleaning, QuikShine for a quick shine.:)
 
For a qd I use Poorboys Spray n Wipe, Eagle one Wipe n Shine, D G Aquawax, Turtle Platinum spray, and Perfect Detail , whichever Im in the mood to use.
 
Poorboys Spray n Wipe comes out so slick and shinny for me I dont follow with any other spray.

Just to clarify...QD's remove SG? I thought QD's were only lubricant's that allowed light dirt/dust/bird crap to be wiped off. I thought I read QD's (as long as they aren't carnuba spray waxes) won't harm/alter SG's (specifically Klasse SG).

I have/maybe had at this point, 4 coats of Klasse SG on my car and have been QD'ing (meg's) every couple days.

Any help appreciated...

QD doesn't just grind in the dirt on the car? that i don't get....???:confused: Feed back please
