What do you use to protect windshield wiper arms?

I put GTechniq C1 on mine 5 years ago. Still look good. the powder coat paint hasn't gone chalky at all. still has a sheen to it.
 
I wipe mine with D156 after each wash

The same sealant that I use on the paint. Lately GT C2v3. On my van, they were flaking so I took them in and had them powder coated. Looks great and they'll probably outlast the vans paint. Spent $35 on it locally.

Looks like WETS is worth looking into.

Personally, I usually spray some Megs D156 on a towel and wipe them down, but I admit it’s not something I do as often as I probably should, which is why I was looking for a more long term solution.
 
You guys are making me look bad. All I ever do is wash them when I wash the vehicle. I have never thought of putting anything on them. Guess I'd better stop being such a slacker.

The main reason I "do something' to the arms is, it makes it a lot easier to get that giant bug off after it sacrificed itself to the windshield.
