What happened to BobbyG?

I was just thinking, I haven't seen BobbyG post in a while, and he hasn't visited the site in August according to his profile. I didn't see a post about getting out of detailing or taking a break or anything worse than that. He always had great posts for the new and veteran members. Did I miss something?
 
There was a thread made about this a few weeks ago. He didn't respond and last I saw no one knew where he was. Even Mike P. said he sent him a PM to make sure he was ok.
 
Huh...missed that thread too. Glad to see he's got a lot of people thinking about him
 
Haven't seen Setec Astronomy in a few weeks either. Maybe we should start a thread of missing members.
 
I'm wondering if Mike or Autogeek could possibly make a descrete inquiry based on something they can access through the forum or a past order or something.

Don't want to invade someone's privacy, though.

Just wondering out loud............

Well that's eaxactly what you are suggesting? This thread is making me think maybe I need to bail out cuz your going to invade my privacy. I need some assurances that's not going to happen? AG?

I believe people are expressing a genuine concern here... I doubt you have anything to worry about.

And the other poster was suggesting an 'on behalf' thing. Not, "Hey Autogeek, what's his home address?"

It's not your privacy that was being talked about. It's BobbyG's. Maybe he wants to keep it to himself why he's not posting.

Exactly my point of my post. Privacy. I'm not the one who suggested tracking him down.
 
^^^ I'm not sure exactly what that thing in the picture is supposed to be, but it seems AG took the original post down. So I'm guessing someone interpreted it to be what I think its supposed to be.

Or maybe they didn't.
 
I've been very concerned, and worried about Bobby.

I know there could be some legal ramifications about an invasion of privacy, but couldn't somebody at AG-Autopia like Mike P, or Todd make a call or try some form of contact in regards of all his friends here?

I've been following, but memory is fuzzy whether or not his contact info is good? Or is there phone numbers no longer in service, etc?

Bobby was one of the first people who came forward to me when I joined this forum. A mentor for sure. He helped me considerably, he was what this group, and all you fine people here stand for, and love, in spades. He was one of a select few who brought me into the 21st century of car care. And I'll always be eternally greatful.

Same with my buddy Dave in TX, Setec, and others here, thank you.

I pray he is OK, and will continue to pray.

I wonder when he last placed an order?
Is he on others sites besides this one?, maybe ask around.
 
The last time I spoke (forum) to Bobby is was unemployed. He probably got a new job and is busy.
