I know we all repurpose stuff like makeup brushes etc. I thought a thread would be cool to show of some things you've repurposed to make your job that much easier and most of all cost effective!View attachment 75594View attachment 75595View attachment 75596
who said these are only for holding groceries! Just don't show Ralph's
And I used a bike handlebar mount and some PVC for my Lance/Gun holder.

I loves me some Method household cleaner spray bottles

I bought a stack of these bottle tops for easy dispensing of soaps and other liquids like tire dressings.

I use my old toupee's as wash mitts....:xyxthumbs:

I have an electric plant sprayer I use to presoak when I do a rinseless wash.

I've also purchased bettix bottles for dispensing products.

MisterSnoop - I've got a similar sprayer and do the same for rinseless. :dblthumb2:

Repurposed: I clean and reuse the 1L mouthwash bottles to have various products pre-mixed and ready to refill spray bottles. The ACT ones are rectangular so they don't take up much space in your tote/shelf.

Seems like all my bottles that are squeeze dispense stop working before I use up all the original contents. Your setup looks super handy, though!

Those caps are the best!!! I have been looking for a good 8oz 28-410 thread bottle. I think I found the ones I like but am still debating.[/ATTACH]View attachment 75597View attachment 75598
Love the electric sprayer. I have been looking at a few on Amazon. I would think IK or other companies would of jumped on that innovation a while ago.
It's a pain pumping or filling with air after 1 panel or tire!

I think we have all been wondering why there are always so many “missing cat” posters up in your neighborhood…

There is a detailing website that sells the same model that's rebranded for them. IK has some foamers with schrader valves for pressuring up with an air compressor but nothing electric. SPTA makes a cordless foamer/sprayer, which I also have, but that's heavier than the plant sprayer and now selling for double the cost. The one thing I don't like about the plant sprayer is there's just one button. If accidentally you hit that, it will spray until you turn it off. The SPTA has a power button and a spray trigger so that's not a problem.

Where you get the caps?

For battery powered sprayers, I have been using the Solo 460Li like crazy recently.

These were probably designed for gardening/floristry more than anything but they work so well for rinse-less washing.

So well that I bought another two...........

I like how these aren't as bulky as the pump action type sprayers. The spray head even screws onto common spray bottles, although due to the weight, I would say they would be better used on the larger 1lt bottle sizes compared to these 500ml versions -

Those are the nicest ones by far! I don't like the green and grey is only @ Obsessed! Pretty DIDGEY $$$ Get what you pay for though.
I looked at a bunch and this was the only one that actually had decent reviews!

That's the one I have. I got a couple of them branded Tovia off amazon for like $20 ea. Downside of that one is if it tips over it leaks, and I don't think the electronics in the head are very sealed if it spends time on it's side. (haven't tried to take mine apart to look, just from what I read on reviews like you did).

If you like to butter your pads with product and you have access to a restaurant supply store try one of these nylon sandwich spreaders

$2 or so vs $18 for the Rupes Claw

I either blow out pads or use a stiff fingernail brush to clean them so I don’t miss the brush function on the Rupes tool

Choice also has really nice 3 shelf plastic carts. I've got a couple of their 36" wide ones at work. You can pick them up on sale in the low $60's (it's been a while, don't remember specifics). They've got narrower ones too. I've debated getting one for home, cutting a bucket hole in the 2nd shelf, and making a detailing cart.

You can also get the bins that hang on the side of your cart from them too.

Good to know

I’ll be looking for a cart and cart accessories at some point

Thanks
