Very nice work indeed! :props:

I'm willing to bet you really amazed yourself at how these came out. Dual action polishes are an amazing tool; very affordable and versatile. Without a doubt one of the greatest contributions to the detailing world in the last 20 years or so...

Candy apple red is one of my all time favorites.............:dblthumb2:

yeah i didnt think the reflection on my car would clear up as much as it did. i took forever on my car cause i only used the white pad to get the swirls out shoulda used a more aggresive pad but it worked lol just took a lonnnng time haha

Both cars look awesome. I sense a flex in your future...

The force is strong with you...

But seriously, getting your first car done is an awesome feeling.

thanks u know the messed up part. i left half the truck undone to see if my father would notice he didnt untill my mother showed it to him. thats messed up haha but that trucks not on the road so he dont pay no mind to it atm lol

Why when the PC will do everything the flex will do and more.

Car looks great, nice job!!!

Dubbin, I like you. I think one day we'll become the two best friends that anybody has ever had.

But to answer your question, the flex 3401 utilizes forced rotation, which most people feel leads to faster correction when using foam pads.

I know exactly what they are, I have one ;) But I also have a PC and guess what, yup I grab the PC first. The PC has PLENTY of correction power PLUS it will accept 4" pads.

maybe one day ill get a flex. but not for a long time. detailing right now is just my hobby but i do hope to posibley take it to the next level and make it a job one day. i get called weird cause i love doing it just as much as i love working on motors hopefully one day ill be able to make both a job =D

LOL

I agree 110% :)

I don't own a flex but have used one, and for my needs I don't need one. I'm never in a huge hurry, though. If I needed to cut back on my time I would probably invest in one.

Dubbin, will you join my wolf pack?

If I needed to cut back on my time I would probably invest in one.

That's where a lot of people go wrong. A flex is not going to cut the time down one bit. Don't get me wrong its a well build piece of equipment but its not the "fix" like most people believe it is.

Not sure what a wolf pack is so no :D

Looks great! Just to double check, you're the YouTube member that was asking me questions on YouTube after watching some of our how-to videos on our YouTube channel....

You're results look great and I'm sure you discovered that you achieved better results faster than working by hand...

So did the videos and the forum help?

I'm just commenting on this part of your post to drive home the point to anyone else that ever finds themselves in a position to do a real cool extreme makeover on something in really bad shape...

The power in the after shots is created in the before shots

Daily drivers and no before shots... no problem... something unique and in bad shape that you can save... then try to get the before shots...

Nice work!

yeah its me on youtube. i actully jsut left u a comment on there for u hahaha. and yes the videos and forum . and ur advice . is what finaly got me past the worry and buyin my products but not just buying but buying from you guys. everything got here fast. and everything . and most of all questions where answered with out any bias advice like others i was talking to . i told u what i had to do and what i was gonna use. and u gave me advice for everything i needed. . and yes machine is not only faster but i used alot less product as when working with hand as ur arm tires u sometimes thing its harder cause product is drying out. which isnt the case. its ur arm getting weaker. so i saved time. and energy and money with the PC. and everything came out better. its all more even at the end if u get what i mean. :)

Just got into the office, had to polish some glass first thing this morning, haven't had a chance to check on YouTube but will in a minute.

Good to hear. That's the Autogeek way.

Thank you for your feedback, both on YouTube and this forum our goal is to help others be successful when working on their car in their garage and feedback like this tells us we're hitting our goal.

i told u what i had to do and what i was gonna use. and u gave me advice for everything i needed.

Cool. My passion is working on cars and helping others to work on their cars... goes back to my first real experience rubbing out paint, someday I'll type that story up...

Ha ha... you're so right. Reminds me of a a guy that I was helping use a cleaner/wax by hand to an oxidized single stage paint. He said when he first started out the cleaner/wax was working really good but as he continued around the car it quit working. I suggested he take a break and then when he resumed to only work a small section and then check his results. He did so and then told me the wax seem to be working again.

The wax worked all the time, it was him that stopped working because he was getting tired and probably not putting enough passion behind the pad.

But yeah... the machine never gets tired...

and everything cause out better. its all more even at the end if u get what i mean. :)

Completely understand. Uniform cleaning ability from a machine that doesn't get tired equals a uniform appearance over all the body panels.

We love hearing success stories... thank you for sharing...

The Cobolt looks very deep/wet look. I have both Griot DA and Makita, I use the DA a lot more because I feel more comfortable with it.
