what i hate about the summer!!!

besides the heat and humidty here in the south(im a yank) lol.. You wash clean your car and you park it in your driveway then your neighbor decides to mowe their lawn!!!!!:nomore: drives me nuts i mean when their done you have all the dust and crap that settles on the finish....grrr. anyways i'm not going to get detailers rage just venting a lil

I here you. Almost every time I wash my car my neighbors lawn service shows up! Usually just as I'm finishing up. If it's my Sky I just hustle her back into the garage and close the door. I usually dry her in there anyway. But any other car is stuck in my yard to get covered in airborne lawn waste. Makes me want a much bigger garage.
 
Summers in Fla are beautiful if you are on the water, but when on land they can be brutal!
 
I'll take summer over spring any day as far as cleaning my car goes. Summer may be hot and humid, but at least you don't have to deal with pollen. And since it's technically not summer yet, I'll throw in the lovebug debacle into what I hate about spring also.

already dealt with the pollen this year and that seems to be over with hopefully
 
At least you're getting sunshine. In California we're still getting showers -_-. Hopefully it won't ruin the long weekend coming up. It's time for a new coat of wax :D
 
you think you have it bad.. i have a neighbor (stubborn old man/couple who isn't very nice) who has turned on his sprinklers when i was done or while i was washing the car. he also has a tree that blossoms sap and said he would ask the gardeners to cut it (we asked if he would as it causes damage to our vehicles), but never did. AND on top of that.. my window is next to his door (he'll do this when it's open) in which he has his trash dumpster and every frickin twenty minutes, he'll throw something away and slam not only the lid to to the trash can, but then slams his door shut when he goes inside.
 
I have a garage, but sometimes my neighbor will mow while I am starting to wash.

It is much better drying the car in the summer after washing. I do like that.
 
Humidity. Anyone who lives from St. Louis down knows what I'm talking about.
 
I live in Kansas and I do know what you are talking about. We don't have the same humidity as St.Louis. I visited there recently and it is MUGGY.

What we have in Kansas is the 15 straight days of 105 temperatures and 30 mile an hour winds......HOT, HOT, HOT.
 
i have one of those idiots too will cut grass and bushes and then use blower and blow dirt and bushes on car and into swimming pool too
 
I'm confused. Is this a Complain About Summer thread or a Complain About Your Neighbor thread? Not that it matters - I can contribute to either. :p
 
You all need to move to the country. All I have to worry about is the damn bugs, wasps mostly, hate them little critters..oh yes gravel driveways, gotta be really careful you don't drop your microfiber. Me, I love summer, HATE NEIGHBORS.
 
What is it with bugs having to land in your freshly applied wax??? :rant: I'm also not liking this humidity. It took almost a half hour last night for my wax (Meg's Gold Class paste) to pass the swipe test.
