What I have found out through detailing

I've been a little OC about my rides since I hand-rubbed the fresh repaint of my '67 Chevelle in 1971. For over 40 years folks have said to me "Why do you wash your car so often? It'll just get dirty again."
Thanks to the members here, I learned the snappiest retort....Do you wipe your butt? It'll just get dirty again.
Conversation ends.

Now this goes into my 60 year old memory bank Im the MAN

I've learned it actually does rub off on some people.

My neighbor asks me how to get this or that cleaned up. His wife actually started cleaning her car, and her son's car more often. The guy even said the next time you make an order from 'that place', get me some ONR and one of those bug sponges you use. (Done)!

A guy who always sees me detailing when he is walking his dogs asked me what is the best thing to use on faded black trim to bring it back.

I told him CarPro DLux. What I didn't tell him is its 40 bucks for an ounce.
