Well I slipped away for a couple of days and ran across something interesting, The Power of One Solar Car!
Something very interesting I learned, was Porter Cable is a sponsor.
Just a few interesting bits of info.... It weights 300kg with the driver in it, 5 meters long, 1.8m wide, has three wheels, with a maximum speed of 120 kmh aka 75 Miles per hour, has a rear camera to for backing up.
This car took a long journey starting in Canada on June 12th 2008, and this past weekend it hit the most southern point at Key West.
The guy with the orange visor is the driver, guy in charge on far left, and video man far right.
Funny thing is I thought when I looked back I saw this car raise up in the air, I thought, I have had one too many Fat Tuesday drinks and continued to walk away. Then I research this online and found this picture, now I think I could have had one more frozen drink!
Driving home a couple days later, I hit the seven mile bridge and I look over right before going over it and see him pulling up on my side, so I immediately sped up because I did not want to have to push this over the seven mile bridge.
And for all of you who have not taken a tropical holiday lately, this is what you are missing! I took this in Islamorada.
