I want something that puts a little shine to the tire not the wet look but a nice clean look. And I don't want something that splashes all over the wheel wells.
I have a bottle of 303 protectant. Would this work good for tires?
Any other product recommendations?

If the tires are cleaned well, 303 has a really nice look to it. For a good clean look, meguiars gold class natural shine protectant looks great. It is pretty durable and gives a nice satin shine.

How long does 303 last?
Are you talking about Meguiars Gold Class Endurance tire treatment? Because I didn't see meguiars product called Natural Shine at their website.

My favorite low gloss tire dressing is Mother's Reflections Tire Care. I also like Showroom FX White Pearl dressing for a matte look. I haven't tried 303 yet, so I cannot compare.

My favorite is Mothers Reflections Tire Dressing. I spray some on a paint pad(those little square foam ones that have a handle), then wipe the rubber down. after about 5 minutes, I take an old MF towel and wipe the excess dressing off. it leaves a nice matte finish. It makes my 4 year old tires look new when im done applying the dressing.

I gotta add that the DP Gloss tire gel really does "cure" like it say's in the product description. The tire may still look wet, but you'll be surprised when you touch it to find a very slick and dry surface. A second coat gives even higher gloss. Like CEEDOG said be sure to clean the tires well before dressing. Sometimes a good scrubbing with an old Microfiber, after washing, is required in order to get the best results.

Thanks,
I think I'll try out the 303 since I have a bottle of it already.

My personal favorite is Licorice Black by System One. Gives a nice matte finish and lasts a long time. Smells like licorice too, if your interested. Tough to source here in Canada though. My bottle has run out and I will try to find another at a reasonable cost.

Pat.

I got a bottle of 303 8 years ago when I bought a vinyl cover for my truck. At that time it was touted as a tire dressing stating that it was essential for repleneshing the essential oils in the tires. I used that until I discovered Griots.

Griots rubber cleaner followed by Griots vinyl and rubber dressing. Low gloss. Gives more of a new tire look. Durabilty is not super strong, but, repeated use will give the tire a nice new look even when not freshly dressed.

303, Opti-bond, even Einszett Vinyl Dressing amongst many others.

Opti Bond, Ultima Tire & Trim or 303. I also have Wheel Wax dressing. It looks nice , similar to Opti Bond but not as durable IME. It was a BOGO.

I used the 303 extensively.
It went on easy but I seem to have used a lot but I did a lot.
Half a bottle about 8 oz or so.
I did the tires and all the rubber and bumpers and interior. There is a lot of plastic and rubber on my 2010 Savana. So that isn't too bad I guess as I did spray it all over the door trim panels on the doors and all the rubber door seals and the huge dash too, just about all the plastic and rubber on a big vehicle.

I went 4 wheelin on memorial Day to the lake where it is very dusty and sandy. My tires are coated with dust and dirt as is the whole vehicle especially the tires and rear bumber which I 303 heavily. I am going to wash it either tomorrow or sat. Then I will see how the 303 does. My back bumber is coated with dirt. I want to see how well it comes off and if the 303 has anything left or if I already need to reapply.
That will be the first test for 303.
I will let you guys know in a few days.
