what is a great leather cleaner product

Hey Wendell,
What kind of cars will you be using it on? If it is your own... I would get the Leatherique pristine clean. You don't nec. need the rejuvanator oil. It did a great job cleaning my leather.... and now I just condition them every two weeks with Zaino Leather in a Bottle.

PS- GO CATS! We are going to murder LSU today!

Hey, Hey Lincoln, I just finished watching the Tennessee game on Gameday....close call....whew !!!!

That was my original thought on the leather cleaner getting the combo, but once I read up on it the Prestine clean by its self may be sufficient...
By the way, saw your posting the other day here on AG, she looked sharp !!!

I like Einszett LeatherCare for monthly care. I have used Leatherique annually and its quite messy but does seem to clean real deep indeed.
Killr, thanks for the reply....you are a trusted name here on AG ( there are other too...lol...) I agree, it sounds kinda messy, reading on it, it stated you need to rub it in with your hands ( which I use surgical gloves all the time) but if the outcome is truly great then it might well be worth getting the combo, Step 1 and 2, I am one of those extremely picky people about cleaning.....but, then again...aren't we all........See ya on the Forum....thanks

I am certainly no pro at this but I like Lexol. I also use a magic eraser to lightly wipe it down. The Lexol conditioner works really well, I think.

I would strongly recommend you keep the magic eraser far away from your leather seats. It is an abrasive which will only damage the finish of your leather. Do some research on the topic if you don't take my word for it. The other thing to keep in mind is that most of the leather in today's cars is sealed. Therefore, you don't want to use anything too strong on it to remove or damage the integrity of the surface. Actually, an PH balanced cleaner will do a fine job on the leather. I use 303 cleaner diluted 32:1. I also use a steam cleaner and if you spray on the cleaner, agitate with a soft brush and then steam it, the results will be stunning and most importantly, you will not damage the leather.

Good call Richy...I really haven't heard anything good about the Magic eraser.....sounds like a product that is more of band aid than a cure....lol....
