I just purchased this thinking this might be a good regular wash shampoo based on the description that it won't strip sealants/waxes. However, I read something else on here that made me think it was more of a pre wax wash to get all the old wax off. I'm confused...

Use it per instructions on the bottle and it won't strip LSP. I believe it's 1 cap full for 4 gallons of water.
It's not as strong as Citrus Wash & Gloss.

I use it as my regular wash sometimes and have had no problems. I forget the dilution so check on that. Decent product. Not my favorite at all budgets the job done .

It's one of the best car wash products out there do you made a great choice. Secondly it will NOT strip LSPs if you use the proper dilution ratio for maintenance washing. It's also a fantastic product for those who like using foam canons. The beauty of this product is that you can use it to strip clean if you wish.

What would be the appropriate dilution ratio for stripping/not stripping with a foam cannon? My CG wash clear and CG red are in transit and I'm close to pulling the trigger on a foam cannon. Sorry if I've hijacked the thread.

I use half an ounce of Citrus Wash and Clear to 2 gallons of water. Don't know about what amount to use in a foam cannon though.
