What is happening with the "LIKES"?

When I am reading through a forum I like to click the "like" button for those posts I appreciate. Why are they sometimes there and sometimes not. It seems I can use those like buttons for a few days, then all of a sudden they disappear for 2 weeks.
 
The Forum Admins mentioned in another thread on this topic it had to be disabled due to a security vulnerability. No idea if/when it will come back.
 
They said the disappearing posts were due to them working in the background, apparently they are still working on something because I'm still experiencing this problem.

Same here, they need to go to IT school.
 
I for one miss the like button. I enjoyed being able to give members that "silent nod" of approval for posting useful and/or witty information or ideas.

And it was also nice to receive likes so you knew others felt the same about things you posted.

Disappearing post still happening.. very aggravating.

After replying to a post the thread appears, but if you press the "new post button" the thread disappears. It will return some time latter. Often times you want to edit your post, but it's not there and you have to wait for some time before it reappears.
 
ok, ill see if I can find a work around. the reason why it disappears from the new post if cause its no longer a new post after you have reply to the thread. New post only has the post that you have not already read, so when someone else replies to the thread it will appear in the new post section again.

But the thread doesn't appear on the main menu like it did before.
 
Just replied went back to the main menu and this thread was not there. I had to go to settings to find this thread.
