What is on my hood?

Wow, are those bubbles in the clearcoat ?
Mu guess is that the clearcoat got burned somehow.
It looks like massive/impossible solvent pop but it couldn't be because its localized.
Maybe some engine failure caused high temperatures just below the hood.
It could worth a try but I think that this fix requires respray.

Spider egg!

Oddly enough I was think something similar, some type of insect eggs.

Edit: Maybe neighborhood kids vandalized with some type of flame or heat?

How do the bubbles feel? Is there air in them? Are the solid feeling?

I'll check it out today, the only thing that worries me is how it looks around the middle of it, how it has that clear coat burning look but like I said this car hasn't been detailed yet it has just been a daily driver only 20k miles

There is also a dark halo around the bubbles. Hard to tell from the pics, my guess would be something a acidic?
You might take it to a body shop first.
agree, that dark halo is not a good sign.

instead of pictures, you should invest the time and try to get it off quickly.I know your looking for advice which is good, but if that was my car I wouldn't waste anytime getting whatever is on there off.look under the hood in that spot above, and see if there is some damage.Looks topical, but that dark halo around deosnt looks good.
