What is on my tires?

The technique that I use and that has worked very well has been to use steel wool grade 0000, it must be done with a dry tire and then I proceed to wash it in the traditional way. A single steel wool can clean all four tires but if they are too sticky you may need two. This procedure does not harm your tires if you do it carefully.
 
^^ I've also used 0000 Steel Wool with Bleche Wite to get the super gummy junk off... It usually ends up blooming the tires, but nothing a little PB World Bold N Bright won't take care of to make them look perfect again.
