Apex detailing done a video using only hand cream and an aggressive pad, it did cut. Pads are arguably more important according to that test/video. Which makes sense to me.

It's a photo finish, 2nd place goes to Car Pro Essence and the win goes to Menzerna SF 3800.

Menzerna's green line just arrived in Canada. I wonder if they are any different..i was thinking of asking my main distributor. He's a big fan of FG400.
I recently used some 3D HD Polish+ that I had sitting around unused from a while back and have absolutely fallen in love with its gloss, work time, and easy wipe off. Not in love with the fact that it has been discontinued. I emailed 3D and they recommended the ACA 520 or AAT 502 products as substitutes. Probably going to try the AAT 502 b/c of the price (i.e. $29.99/qt.
Also gave Megs m210 a run on a few panels recently, but I was not impressed with it. Wasnt easy to wipe off and was not strong enough to remove light wash marring that accumulated since my cars last annual polish. I really do think this is a product specifically catered to softer clears, as Megs frequently referenced in their videos and forum posts about the product. I would not recommend m210 for medium to hard clears based on my experience thus far. Another thing I noticed was that my Duragloss coating did not bond properly on the panels I used 210 on, in spite of using DGs Squeaky Clean cleaner before application of the coating and letting the car cure overnight in the garage. Not sure what went wrong; heavy fillers/oils, possibly?
Mike is in the house, maybe he'll read your post, Mike.I would love to see 3D come out with a polish that has the same abilities as Speed, cut, ease of removal, etc without the protection element for those times I want to follow with something other than a wax/sealant
That might well be AAT 502, I just haven’t tried it yet

He might not want to overstep with a 3D tutorial here, but then again I have (often) been wrong in the past..............![]()
What I’m actually going to do is put my grudge aside and order some BOSS cremes
Why ask someone to reinvent the wheel

I have trouble with megs polish, seems to leave something on the paint.
I have to use a mix of 2/3rds old fashioned windex and 1/3 acetone as a panel wipe after it.
I have had good luck with Blackfire primer polish, finishes well behind Griots Boss fast correcting cream.

I had a chart where 3D said that Speed was 10% Cut, 20% Polish, and 70% wax.
