What is the best LSP to protect against water spots?

Because Meguiar's chemists have always understood
that: whenever there are water beads...and then they
wind up drying on vehicles' surfaces...it can lead to
water-spotting, and other water related problems
(acid rain etching comes to mind):

They then took that knowledge, and put it to good
use, by designing and formulating Meguiar's
Gold Class Wax
to not bead water.

Interesting..can anyone verify that Meguiar's Gold Class Wax does not bead water? Just read a bunch of reviews on this product and no one said that it sheets water. As a matter of fact, a few said it beads water nicely. If this wax in fact sheets water, I'm buying two cans right now.Feed back please

FK1000p and Sonax PNS imo sheet better and stay cleaner than most coatings and they do not suffer from water spotting.

In my experience, PNS water spots a lot. I don't mean type II (etched), but type I, that is just sitting on the surface. These exist because of dust collecting in the water droplets and then drying, leaving those ugly brown spots.
Nice to look at, but a lot of brown spots when dry.

Rsurfer is correct, PNS will spot on the surface, but I have had zero etching. It is the only product I have used that didn't etch the soft aftermarket clear on one of my cars.

Their Gold Class Carnauba Plus replaced the older version years ago, it beads quite well in the short term. Check out my water test video here: https://youtu.be/kv4YWpJRi1w

I realize that my experiences are usually put to
the side; and, that even the following probably
won't be enough to fit-the-bill:

**********************************************

"Water beading can be a visual indicator of a
coating's presence. By that I mean, if your car's
finish does not bead water before, cleaning, polishing
and protecting, but does bead water after applying a
protective wax coating, then as the beading diminishes
over time and exposure to repeated washing or inclement weather, the lack of beading can be a visual indicator
that the wax is wearing off.

Some Meguiar's waxes, like Gold Class wax, are not
formulated to bead water well. Many people read into
this that it is a product that doesn't protect well. The
chemists that created this formula understand that
water beading and then drying on painted surfaces can
lead to problems, so they designed Gold Class Wax
to not bead water.

While it's easy to explain the benefits of a wax that
sheets water instead of beads water, it would appear
that most people prefer a wax that beads water, if for
no other reason, than it looks cool".

I agree regarding the FK1000p--a good hard rain and the car looks almost like it was washed.
