I recently just got into the auto detailing scene with the purchase of my new car. That said, I have ALWAYS used old cotten towels for drying my car. After readying this forum and others like it, I decided to pick up some Microfiber towels from my local Target. They are branded VROOM. Odd name.

Anyhow, I about fell over when I washed my car yesterday. I literally cannot explain the difference and ease of drying off a car with one these things versus old cotten towels, which I had done for 31 years!

That said, I want the best Microfiber towels money can buy. I figure since I will be washing my car at least once a week, I want the best microfiber towel for the specific use of drying off my car.

It seems that a lot of people are partial to the Cobra towels sold here. I got to the Meguiars forums, and they are obviously loving the McGuires product.

Long story short, I would like everyone best impartial suggestion as to what the best microfiber towel on the market is. Thanks!

Never Ever Ever Use Cotton Towels They Will Leave Small Scratches In The Paint Over Time . Go With Cobra Micro Fiber Towels. Guzzler

I see that the Coba Guzzler's seem to be the most popular around here. Has anyone used several brands other than the Cobra towels that still likes Cobra the best?

I have also been referred to pakshack towels as well. Again, I don't know one from the other and am hoping some members have tried several brands and have a favorite.

cobra guzzlers really win the vote because they are pretty much the only oversized mf towel available...but there is a reason they are the only one...built perfect from the start....

Arent 70/30 better than 80/20 mfs?

depends...some of the less plush mf's are better for all purpose use...no need to use a super plush mf for something like wiping down your dash or seats...

I agree, use the cheap ones for wheels, etc.

I've used a few different types of WWs and wasn't really convinced of their drying power until I got the guzzler. The thing takes care of my car with ease, then again my car isn't very big (focus svt 3door), but I think I could dry a lot more than I do.

I've heard good things about the meguiar's water magnet and super suede microfiber as well.

guzzler yo! i was lucky to get one when the Ultimate GUzzler was half off :)

idk my guzzler is kind of rough doesnt feel like my other microfibers is this the way it should be?

Another Vote for the Guzzler. I can do an entire SUV with one towel. Well worth the money.

I own two Meguiar's Water Magnets. I absolutely love them. However, I seem to be a little outnumbered in this thread.lol
