Do you work in a body shop? If not the silicones (or bad stuff?) should have no ill affect on anything, especially on tires. The DP gel is real nice, so if you have more I would suggest using it up.

no I dont work in a body shop I just heard silicones are bad for tires and can cause browing and fading. anyone try wolfgang tire gel? does anyone know if wolfgang tire gel is water based/ free of silicones? thanks

You can't go wrong with the Total Eclipse Tire Gel

Eco Touch tire dressing is probably going to be the most natural, long lasting tire shine you will find. Looks great and last a couple weeks without needing to be touched up to bring back the gloss. Next to that I would say Opti-Bond, plus it can be used on just about any trim surface.

Opti bond or PERL. Both mix well with water and are great with spray guns.

I currently use Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel and am happy with the results. However, I am looking at a product called Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat. This product is supposed to be even longer lasting than Optimum Tire Gel, which is already one of the longer lasting tire dressings you can find.

It too is water-based, contains no petroleum distillates or silicones, which I like. I HATE those brown stains!

I've used a ton of different tire gels and have found a few I really liked, then they change the formula on it and it changes my feelings...

Right now my go to tire gels that are water based are Opti-bond, BF Total Eclispe, WG Tire gel, and PERL. I use PERL more for maintenance washes, since I have it in a spray bottle already.

I actually need to stop buying tire gel for awhile..I have WAY too much. Still have 2 gallons of DP tire gel that 1 I haven't even opened, gallon of BF Total eclipse, couple bottles of WG Tire gel, some detail king TNT tire gel, and a ton more I can't think of.

I really love Optimum Opti-Bond and Tire shine, along with Perl
