i want your opinion on what is the best wax that will make the car feels very slick and smooth. if you set anything on it, it will slide right off. please give me any advise.

The only hand wax I use is the Meguiar's NXT Generation® Tech Wax® 2.0. Once I use something and like it, I really do not like to use other waxes. All the other waxes listed on this site, I have not ever used, fyi.

Here is one of the cars I've used it on.

On two cars...one is gold and the other a pearlescent cream, I used Griot's Carnauba Wax Stick topped with Griot's Best of Show Wax...a beautiful finish and slick as...well, you get the picture. On a car that's Torch Red, I use Griot's Wax Stick topped with Pinnacle Souveran...nothing better for that color in my experience.

On my family's daily drivers, I use Griot's Paint Sealant. It's mirror-like reflective and extraordinarily slick. For the fun cars I simply like the look a quality carnauba gives.

Of course, there are many quality waxes and sealants. Find what works best for you and be happy.

The slickest for me was Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. Even slicker than Z-2. jmo

This is with proper prep though.

To me, Z2 has never been the slickest. It just stayed beaded and stayed slick the longest. By a wide margin, I might add.

I'm curious, is it the wax that makes it slick or is it just as much the prep work; claying, polish, & sealant.

That is when I nice side by side comes in handy. Same surface, same prep, different LSP. I've noticed a difference in products when done this way.

Not intending to be a wiseguy, but this is such a subjective thing that you could get 100 different suggestions.

For me, the best wax/sealant is the one I am using this month, but.....
That may not be the one I use next month.
It also might not be the one I was using last month.

After you get all the suggestions, just pick one and go with it.
Chances are that with proper prep, whatever product you choose will look great.

My impression--please correct me if I'm wrong--is that synthetic sealants tend to be "slicker" than carnauba waxes. So if slickness is a decisive consideration (and why shouldn't it be?), then look to the sealants for your LSP.

IME, sealants are generally slicker.

Whatever you buy and you think looks the best. There are so many options to choose from. You may like apples and I oranges.I have spent alot of money finding the combo's I like on my differant color rides.

To be honest I have only used a few wax's and sealants and its hard for me to tell the difference on a red paint, non-metallic, maybe it is just I am not looking for the right thing or just don't have the "eye." I can tell the difference between some but when you get to ones that are similar, like as you get to the high end spectrum I just cant tell. I think play around, and just find something you like. I have used Zymol Carbon for a while now and looking to replace it soon as i want to change it up.

proper prep , the fundamentals in cleaning, will prepare your finish for the best application of any sealant or wax. Four Star UPP has commonly been noted for its slickness and seems to be enhanced with the newer version and Polycharger additive. I highly suggest it, and bet you will find very few to no real complaints.
