What is this? Smear after washing and drying

Haha don't worry about it man! I got some Dodo Born to be Mild coming it will be here tues. I use the gold class as soap if I'm gonna do a correction or wax because it doesn't matter then but maintence wash with the Dodo and the waterless DP for getting the dust offf

Ok just an offer :dblthumb2:

I understand your frustration but you asked for opinions and you got them.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online
Not frustrated. Just makes me laugh when I get answers that are not even close to what I'm looking for. I specifically said it was a surface oily substance no marring, no swirls ect and people still continue to give those answers

Happens to me as well with the gold class. I have noticed it may leave a residue when I wash it out in the sun and the soap dries up before I can completely rinse it off.

It appears to be a wax hologram which in that case just take a quick detailer spray and let dwell an rinse off if that don't work than try a light hand polish like m205 that should most honestly remove that. One question? do you have a rotary buffer because it could be a buffer hologram??????

Not a hologram. Addressed that already. Have never used a rotary. It is just residue left from Gold Class. That's what I was assuming

Well just a little update. I did a quick waterless with DP waterless wash and the haze was all wiped off. So it definitely is gold class. I am very unhappy with how the conditioners do this. Poor quality shampoo in my eyes

Yeah, I relegated my GC to wheels, but as I said earlier, most if not all shampoos will leave some residue like this if they are allowed to dry on the surface. The annoying part is most of the time once it has dried on like that, more rinsing won't take it off and you have to mechanically remove it as you did.

Maybe try using it in a garage or shaded area or do one section at a time. The residue/soap isn't being completely wiped/rinsed off so it's drying onto the paint. Rinsing more often or doing sections at a time should solve this.

Gold class isn't a bad shampoo, it just needs to be rinsed off.

Be sure that you are using the correct ratio. One ounce per gallon of water.

Going 'strong' with the shampoo WILL leave those kind of 'trails'.

Bill

I get that same thing when I use too much #915. Next wash, its nowhere to be found.
