What is your favorite AIO?

I've used PB BH a couple of times and it works great, hides the rock chips very well and gives a much deeper black. I was just kicking around the idea of an AIO but the more I read about CQuartz I'm getting real tempted, the only problem is what will I ever do with my Fuzion?

Does Fuzion not look great over Cquartz?

You can give me your fuzion! :)

CQuartz is not meant to be topped with anything.

Looking for some direction. I have a Makita 9227, but I'm not experienced using it as a buffer. I have a decent stock of LC CCS pads for it, and am not currently interested in investing in a PC/Griots DA at this time. My first victim will be a fender from my Chevelle that was used as a sample sprayout for the final color. The next will be my '03 Durango, and then on to my '05 Benz E. After that, will be my wifes '05 Benz CLK cabrio. I was researching Meguiars D151. It seems to be a good beginners product, since I can use the same product but change pads if I need to be more agressive. I was initially going to get the Menzerna 86/106 combo for the Benz ceramic clear, but it's kind of pricey and also increases the variables with 2 products and the different pads. I figure that if I get comfortable with the D151, the Makita and then want more, I can get the Menzerna products and go to town. My plans would be to top the D151 with 845. I like the idea of the AIO's, and it seems the D151 is well recommended along with being reasonably priced. Thoughts?

I'm currently using Poli-seal but I've heard good things about D151.

I just wish D151 was available in something smaller than a gallon container.

It is, you just have to shop around.

OP, have you checked your washing technique/media? Swirling your paint in 2 months doesn't sound right. I polished our black Cobalt in April and when we traded it in September it had very few marks, easily fixed with PO85RD.

This black Honda paint is so soft it swirls when the wind blows.

No kidding. I can't open a door without swirls being made on the other side. Honda paint is soft.

I know your pain!

Do you have problems with water-spotting, too? Water spots are the bane of my life! If I don't wash my S2K within 24 hours after it's been rained on, I'm stuck with the water spots until my next polishing session. :(

Optimum PoliSeal. Decent cut, slick as glass, great shine. Top with Collinite 845 for added durability.

You and me both!

OK good, I thought it was just me. I'm so glad I discovered rinseless washes too, when I do a regular wash I can't get it dried quick enough and I get spots too.

I am a HUGE fan of XMT360... I have tried DDJ NFS and it didn't seem to have the same impact as the XMT360 did... Here is a pciture of a test spot on a severly oxidized van I did:

Here is the after with a topping of Pinnacle Souveran:

I only used one LC white pad for the enitre van to remove all the oxidation and some minor swirls... It really brought the paint back to life!
