What kind of seats are in an early model ford zx2? Leather or vinyl?

I got a bottle of Zaino z-10 leather in a bottle today, and I love it already! But I have a friend who has an early 2000 model ford escort zx2, and I am wondering if I can use this leather conditioner on her seats. They are not cloth (of course), but I can't tell if they are made of vinyl, or leather? The bucket seats look like leather, but it's the kind that has a whole bunch of holes in the seat. Any ideas?

Probably what I call "pleather" which is imitation/synthetic leather, for some reason I doubt that car had leather interior but who knows I may be wrong.

Probably the front seating area is perforated leather and the rest is vinyl.
