What kind of Vacuum is everyon using these days?

I picked just picked up a 6hp ridgid at HD on sale that included the car detailing accessories no charge. The car accessories cost $40 separately and I paid $99 for the package. The vac has scroll noise reduction, I thought that was just advertising and big words until I used it. I can actually hold a conversation and listen to music with it.
