Hey guys,

Just wanted to know what color pads are most commonly used to remove Intermidiate to light swirls? And also the best pads to polish and apply sealant or wax?? I've already read what they are for, Just wanted to know some experts opinions as to witch pads they use more. Im going to buy them tomorrow so your advice would be golden to me. (Almost forgot.....I have the PC 7424 XP, want to buy the 5.5 size.) Thanks in advance.

3x(orange, white, soft green, grey, blue and red). Orange for heavy swirls/scratches. White for moderate swirls/scratches. Soft geen can be used for one-step polishes. Grey is used with your finishing polishes to follow up the more aggresive polishes. The blue is used for jeweling. Then the red would be used for sealant and wax applications.

I agree with Loudog2 except I would switch the Orange and white selections of the CCS pads with the Lake Country Hydro Tech pads. Replace the Orange CCS with the Cyan HT and replace the White CCS with the Tangerine HT. if you are interested go here: Lake Country Hydro-Tech 5.5 x 1.25 Inch Foam Pads, hydrotech foam buffing pads, dual action foam pads I really like these HT pads.

Well so farr I have 2 orange, 2 white, 2 grey 1 blue 1 red. Is that good enough?????

Never heard of the Hydro- tech...Are they better?? Whats the diffrence????

From what I understand when using a DA like you are the H-T pads are faster for removing imperfections because they are flat.
Also they are well suited for water based polishes like wolfgang and menzerna

Your system is right on, but I like flat pads better.
