what looks like water spots

hey whats up everyone. so i went to detail my wife's car. i started by wetting the entire car and spraying Mckees iron removed followed by a rinse. then i washed following the two bucket method, followed by using my fine clay mit. dried the car. used wolfgang polish with a white pad followed by wolfgang sealant with a blue pad. i did notice that there was still what looked like water spots on the hood. any advice?
tomorrow i will be applying collinite 845 with a black pad.
