My car cover is all I need this winter. Winters here in chicago destory your car from all the salt. No more!

My wifes van will get the Duragloss 601 and 105 treatment. Since my car has Nxt 2 on it ill just cover it with Collinite 476. I hope both cars will be good for the Chicago winter.

in Florida waxes for winter, and sealants or sealants with toppers for spring/summer/fall. I am thinking Fuzion !
I don't envy you trying to deal with those bitter winter temp. drops to 55 and maybe even 50 degrees down in Fla.. How do you manage?:D

I'm going to try DG's Track Claw over their bonding agent. The claim is that it is very slick and repels dirt. The issue for me is will it make washing road film and grit easier with less chance of marring.

Gonna keep my cars under covers in the heated garage. Have 2 craooy work vans for going shopping and such. Take my girlfriends accord when we go out. :)

Been using NXT 2.0 with mothers reflections and top coat on that.

Poorboy's PwS applied with Flex and topped with multiple coats of Collinite Insulator Wax #845.

Washing will be done with DP 4-in-1 and I will use one of my spray waxes (mothers fx,reflections, pinnacle liquid souveran, etc.) afterwards to help boost protection.

This combo/technique did the trick for me last late fall/winter/early spring/etc. in Michigan.

My car hasn't even seen rain since I bought it in March of this year (7 months/850 miles). If it's bad I use the work truck, plus gas is free with the truck. Everytime I detail the car, or the weather is bad, my girlfriend knows we are using her car.

I don't understand why nobody even mentioned a hint at Zaino, other than myself. Even a single coat of Zaino Z-AIO cleaner polish gives my car a sick shine and crazy strong water beading for months with no maintenance at all (aside from regular washings). My G35 looked noticeably better than a coat of Meguiar's NXT 2.0 and I don't think NXT 2.0 can beat the durability.

Is Zaino not good or something? It seems the popular preferences on this forum are Pinnacle and Wolfgang, Collinite, Duragloss, and Optimum, and people are very critical. Am I missing something that makes the "big Z" not even come up in this group of winter protection?

All comes down user preference, and in this case, what ever wax is getting the most hype on that particular forum. Go to other forums and you will find different opinions.

Durability doesn't mean jack to me since I wax every other wash. So basically for me it comes down to what looks good, is very easy to apply/remove, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Hey Loudog2, nice setup. I used to have a gig like that. I worked three doors down from my house and I had a cover on my car and it sat in the lot at work. It was a year by State Inspection 503 miles. I kinda missed driving. Work moved and now I drive 40 miles a day. Damn

Nothing wrong with Zaino and there are fans of it here, but this board was/is designed for AG customers only. Basically what AG carries can be discussed freely, non AG products can be lightly discussed. Also NXT so no where near Zaino durability but the Klasse twins are right there with Zaino in durabilty just not as "shinning" as "Z".

I just ordered some XMT360 for my ride today and it will get a good coat of 845 on the top!
