What Methods do you use to keep your car looking its best all week?

The geek in me is coming back.I put a coat of fourstar sealant on my new Camargo at12am.Along with 2 coats of finest last week.So I'm pretty good for a while.Maybe just rinse and reload but I bought it 2 weeks ago and drove it 20 mi.It's a very rare camaro only a certain amount of them were produced so it's a garage queen.

I know some people just leave the dirt build up ,and5then it falls off.

It doesnt drag the pollen and dust go into the duster. Waterless washing drags the dust and pollen across the car. Why would you want to do that? IDK If you live in an area with a lot of pollen but its much easier, faster, and more convenient to take it off with a duster then doing a water less wash.

not going to debate, anytime you touch your car you are ultimately pulling some dirt across unless you are a completely touchless washer. I always say whatever works best for you, but i don't know, using 20 clean microfibers and waterless washing a soaked panel seems way more ideal then dry rubbing some hand held mop all over your car! good luck!

I use the WRAPT method. Simply wash it every weekend and then drive it all week. It is kept in a garage at night.

well the trick is it has to be clean and dry. you have to use it a day after a wash, 2 days if the pollen doesn't get wet. Once the pollen been wet and dried forget it, do a waterless. but the day after the waterless, use the duster. thats how i do it. gotta stay on top of it. you don't rub the mop in you just drag the end of the mop fibers over the dust gently

You use 20 microfibers to do a waterless wash? how big is your car? I would have to switch to a new side every wipe to use that many. I use 2-3 at the most.

Heh fightnews,

Have you used the duster ever?

On a serious note, my Xterra is outside 24/7. I do weekly washes in the warm months. PA winters I really cant do much. I just make sure it gets a good LSP on before winter hits. Not bad for 5 year old paint....

I do notice after using Hydro Blue, it stays cleaner longer.

Ditto here. The car will get a little dirty from pollen, construction/farm dust, and road grime from rain, but I find it safer to wait until I have time to do a proper wash rather than constantly wiping it down every day.

I'll spot clean bird droppings with a QD spray, but that's about it.
