What about Styx? Nobody remembers them anymore? Or Supertramp. I want you to want me. and nobody mentioned Meatloaf either. Come on, I know somebody out there besides me knows all the words to Paradise by the dashboard light! ;) and Jimi, nobody remembers Jimi either, the best rendition of the star spangled banner ever?? or the Who? and the Doors remember them? and on the softer side nobody mentioned Billy Joel either or Carly Simon. And I know they were totally corny but I loved Kiss back in the day. Kiss alive 2 was a great record! And what about Julio Iglesias?? JUST KIDDING!!! I never could stand him! My grandmother and my aunt LOVED him! YUCK! There's no accounting for taste! lol

If I had my IPOD or laptop here to remind me...

Meatloaf - absolutely! Doors, SuperTramp, etc.... These also. Styx, Kiss, yeah, well not so much, although I did meet Ace Frealy (sp?) after the band disbanded. Billy Joel? Not since he threw away one of the most wonderful women on the planet. Jimi? Nope, gotta draw the line somewhere.

Forgot many, many 60's and 70's groups off, like CCR,...

Some more favs, if you promise not to make fun of me, is The Carpenters and Herb Albert and the Tiajuana Brass!

QUEEN!! And what wrong with Jimi, how can you go wrong with a song like,"hey Joe I heard you shot your woman down"

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dokken Tooth and Nail, great album BB King

LOL! I love listening to classic rock while detailing. The entire album of Boston is a great one to detail too. And no papi, I didn't for get those other bands, it's just that somebody else already named them. :) Oh, Suite Madame Blue was the first song using harmonics that I learned to play on the guitar. My parents were total hippies and I grew up with all kinds of music. When I was like 3 or 4 years old my step dad gave me a cassette tape of Iron Butterfly's In a gada da vida! lol I grew up on all those guys, Foreigner, Nugent, Molly Hatchet, Boston, Bad Company, BTO, Stever Miller Band, CCR, Jimi, Janice Joplin, the Doors, Styx, Aerosmith. My mom was the one that liked the softer stuff, Billy Joel, Carly Simon, Simon and Garfunkle, Carol King, James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Jim Croce and all those guys. Strangely neither my mom nor my step dad had any Bob Dylan records, I discovered him all on my own. And then I got into Kiss, Van Halen, I was a HUGE Led Zepplin fan (still am), Pink Floyd, Dokken, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and being the latina that I am I also am a big fan of Santana and the old classic cuban songs, ay I still love them! Love salsa and merengue but Cuban son is my favorite in the latin genre. Love Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Celia azucar! lol, Mana, Buena Vista, for dancing Puerto Rican Power, Grupo Mania, los hermanos rosario, Paulina Rubio ay and then there's reggae Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley, Aswad, third world and soca and calypso and jazz TOO much good music to name! I've named too much already. Gotta love music! I even love to listen to classical music and the celtic stuff like Enya or even just the instrumental celtic music, I like some opera too, and rap, dancehall, hip hop, love the blues, etc etc country and western is like the only thing I won't listen to. And I am also so sick of Reggaeton. It's like overkill on the radio.

Some good bands right there. I'm in the office with Breaking Benjamins new song playing lol. Have you heard the new Stone Sour stuff, sounds good. That new song "Through the Glass" is great song. One of the other guys in the office is friends with Chevelle.

Suprisingly, and I don't really listen to the band. But Nickelbacks "Animal" song makes me dig deeper in that V8 throttle lol, talk about a song that makes you want to speed :righton:

I like all the stuff Fl.Nat. has listed and more. I listen to some of EVERYTHING---even some country(little). My dad's a good ole' country boy from way back:cheers:

Breaking Benjamin rocks! I saw them at the BFD concert at Tampa Fairgrounds last year with Alterbridge, Papa Roach(who ROCKED the house), 3 Doors Down, The Exies, Dark New Day, and a couple others......all the bands, full sets, from 1pm till 11pm for $40! Awesome deal...awesome concert. Go if you can if they have it again....well worth it.
