What North Dakota winters do to your car

First winter with Powerlock on my black Honda and so far I'm very impressed. Just above freezing yesterday so I hooked up the power washer and sprayed it down. I would guess 90% of the dirt and crap came off and then did a quick soak with the foam gun, rinsed again and then back into the garage (insulated & heated) for a RW.

Are there any self-serve car washes with spray bays you can at least use to rinse the van off every week or so?? That would help immensely even if you can't do a very thorough wash.

Finally got time to get the van cleaned up. Not sure how long it will stay clean but at least I got the salt, sand and beet juice off the paint. It's going to be a long winter.

This is what I started with...

Nice transformation. Kind of surprised the garage floor looks that nice with the snow/sand/slush there.

It usually doesn't in the winter. The floor got scrubbed and squeegeed off after the wash. Lucky to have a heated garage with a floor drain.

Same deal here in Southern Ontario , lots of salt and crud behind the wheels.

Found ONRW&S with a Mytee Steamer to be a good soldier.
