Least aggressive first and always do a test spot. There are mf bonnets for removing waxes/sealants, but I prefer to remove by hand.:xyxthumbs:

@Edgar Sanchez. It looks like you're basically starting from scratch. That being said, I recommend going to youtube and search the username Junkman2000 and watch his polishing tutorial. He will pretty much break it down to the solid basics.

Just don't take his advice on products 100%. For example you'll probably be better off not using Hex Logic Pads and choose some Lake Country Thinpros or anything newer than the Hex Logics.. Same goes for the compound he uses. Don't use M105 because there's easier products to work with.

And finally don't listen to a thing he says as far as microfiber towels. You'll end up throwing away alot of money for nothing if you listen to his sales pitch.. Just go to Coscto and start with a big pack of the yellow microfibers they sell there, tear off the tags, and thank me later.

And learn the difference between DAT abrasive technology in Menzerna compounds and polishes vs. SMAT abrasive technology found in other compounds. I've already said enough. Every other question you can possibly think of can be found on this forum if you use the "search" button.

Good luck.

Or you could watch Mike Phiilps videos and save yourself the endless hours of watching those other videos.

What I like about Mike's instructional videos is they are easy to understand, they demonstrate the process very well and last maybe 5-10 minutes on average vs. those other videos that seem to go on and on. The other videos can barely keep my attention for more than a couple minutes. You can also invest a minimal amount of $$ in one of Mike's books for ibooks. This is perhaps the best $$ I ever invested. On ibooks it links you to his videos etc on your ipad, ipod.

My favorite is the Show Car Shine:

Mike Phillips videos are informative, no doubt.. But a more fair comparison as far as the amount of time and effort put into the information would be Mike Phillips' Books available for purchase here on Autogeek.. The vids are like Mike having some fun with it compared to the textbook information found in his books.:)

edgar Eldorado2K is spot on! custmsprty is spot on too! You can't go wrong with either the videos of the Junkman2000 or Mike Phillips books. I have his old book and still use it for references.

You can't fake the funk with the Junkman2000 and Mike Phillips books can't be beat! Both are spot on!

well i got some news for you guys i went and got the hd adapt and the proxy and it did a way better job the only problem they told me that it wouldnt hold for long , im assuming 2 months and thats it, what is your take on the hd adapt and proxy.

+ 1 on Junkman. That's how I started.

POXY* not Proxy first of all lol (one of my biggest pet peeves on here, its not that hard :P )

Poxy is said to last no more than 2-3 months from what people have described. Maybe get some Collinite 845 instead.

I have a full bottle of 32oz POXY that's still untouched...one day... maybe when I open the untouched bottle of HD Speed.
