what pads to use with what?

Im new to all of this, but just made a 550$ order from autogeek, and am ready to start!

I bought this kit, the Poorboy's PC kit.

Poorboy’s Porter Cable 7424XP Polish & wax Kit

which pads do i use with which products?


And if I use SSR2.5, do i have to follow that up with SSR1, then a wax? Or can i do SSR2.5 straight to wax?

Always use the lighest abrasive pads and go from there. With good lighting you will be able to see how the pad and polish is working.

Progressive would be white, red, black?

Black before red. You need some orange pads for more correction.

Remember there is a more aggressive green pad also. Don't make the mistake. Coarse green and finishing green.
