What Pads?

Sorry for all the newbie questions - have done some searching, just want to make sure.

I am going to get the Porter Cable

Then I was going to use the following products

Menzerna Power Finish

Menzerna Power Lock

Collinite Liquid Wax #845

What pads and colors would I need for each?

I know you can use an orange LC flat as a one stepper for Power Finish but my clear is relatively soft. You'll need 2 pads for each step at least (this includes cleaning your pads on the fly).

not sure about Mustangs, but the clear is harder on American cars in general.

I think I've seen Flash recommend a yellow pad with Power finish as a one stepper but you can never tell if he's joking or not...

have you considered the Megs 5.5 in MF kit?

Might want to get a couple crimson hydrotech pads for your Powerlock and Collinite 845.
 
5.5" low profile Hydro Techs are the only foam pads i like using on my Griots garage DA
