I've been using a Palm Centro for a couple of years. The OS is dated and not as glitzy as many but it does everything I need it to do. I tether to a laptop frequently at 3G speeds with just a plain-Jane $15/mo data plan.

Sprint is the only carrier with reliable coverage at my home so it was a default choice. I'll probably have the Centro for a good long time since Sprint seems to be trying to shove their high-buck Everything Plans down your throat with all the newer glitzy phones.

iPhone for personal and my new business. But with the company that I work for, I use the BB...primarily for email.
 
I have an old cell phone and I use it maybe 10 minutes a month, guess I'm Amish. I had to look at the poll to see what a PDA is !?!
 
Blackberry faithful here, got the new Tour from Verizon. Want the Storm II
 
I have an iPhone now. It's pretty good as a PDA but is AWFUL as a phone. AT&T's coverage is HORRIFIC and I live just outside of Boston. You would think coverage would be unbelievable around a major city. In fact, I once had a dropped call in the city. WTF is up with that?

Before the iPhone I had a couple of different Blackberrys. The iPhone is really a huge leap ahead of the Blackberry. Easier to use, more functionality, etc.

My wife just got a Droid. I think this may be my next phone. It seems to do everything the iPhone does plus a few other things (free GPS nav for instance). The best part though is that Verizon provides the service. My only complaint is that it's a bit bigger and bulkier than the iPhone. Plus, it would be nice if it came with a software package like iTunes or the Blackberry software to manage the phone when it's hooked up to my PC.
 
Motorola Droid just got it and I love it, AG needs a app for us Droid users too :(
 
I see all the commercials about Verizon vs. AT&T nationwide coverage, yada, yada, yada. Not having either at this point but interested in upgrading to a smartphone, do you think the experience you related below is an anomaly with the iPhone and your area or really just AT&T?? Just looking for some hands-on advice.

Personally, I like the hardware choices (Nokia "e" series, IPhone, BB choices, etc.) much more with AT&T and the fact that a mere switch of the SIM card allows you to use another GSM phone. But, it's only as good as the network.

Drop some additional comments if you can. Thx. in advance

Definitely check out the Motorola Droid. Its an iphone killer from reading the reviews. My GF just picked one up and I am anxiously awaiting my renewal in April so I can get mine.

I have lived in metro Atlanta for the past 10 years. I used AT&T service for the first 5 years. HATED IT! I would drop calls constantly. Switched to Verizon and have not looked back. Much better coverage in this market. AT&T may have improved since then but I will not swap back to find out :cruisin:
 
Blackberry curve, I might go with a Droid next go around...I don't know as of now...
 
iPhone 3G for me. I love the phone but the service is not the best. Hope Verizon picks it up in 2010.
