Been using Adams mega foam and Meg's gold classic...thinking of trying a new one just for kicks.
I have pretty hard well water and to get a clean spot free rinse is a stretch
I realize with my water it's going to be impossible without filtration.

Soft water <3

I am still using Meg's D110, Reset(occationally), Sonax Actifoam Energy(using up as a wheel soap), and on the wifes car I have fun with the Adam's Mega Foam but I don't use that on my GLI. Got it on the cheap from Amazon during the holidays and figured why not for $10?

I hear ya...I got it super cheap around the holidays, I let the grandkids go crazy with it...the whole front of my daughters house and 1/2 the neighbors was covered.....:D

You need to try Carpro Reset, expensive but worth it for the user experience. Likewise, Koch Chemie GSF.

If you can find some, have a look into NV Snow.

And if you prefer a runnier foam, I quite like Optimum Car Wash Shampoo.

CarPro Reset. It's my go-to for personal cars that are coated, but it works on any vehicle. 1/2oz in an IK12 foam sprayer is enough to do 2-3 cars.

I use Reset. It's the best soap I've used. Hyperwash and Optimum are good too but not on the same level as Reset IMO.

I'm using Meguiars Hyperwash and will probably stick with it for a while. I really liked Optimum Car Wash, but think Hyperwash has the edge in cleaning ability.

I've used Reset a couple of times and like it, but don't like the expense.

I have no experience with the Adams product, but can tell you Hyperwash is miles above Gold Class in the Meguiars line up. It cleans better, has better lubrication, and rinses off far easier. It was my frustration with Megs Gold Class that sent me on a multi-year journey to find a better wash soap.

When you have a big vehicle and hard water, I've found it takes changes in technique in addition to products to pull off a spot free wash...and even then it isn't totally possible.

I have fairly hard water AND no shade, so I've found I have to wash the wife's SUV in sections starting with those not facing the sun. I also rinse using very low water pressure to keep the water just to the area I've washed as best as possible. This means I actually do the roof last, which is counter intuitive, but it does lead to less spotting for me.

After finishing the roof, a flood rinse gets off most of the water and leads far fewer drops of water than if I simply sprayed off the whole vehicle. Once I moved from sealants to coatings, this was a game changer in preventing water spots. A good sheeting coating will leave a panel almost dry after a flood rinse.

Once the drying is done, I know I will always have water spots no matter how hard I try. A SUV simply takes too long to dry due to it's size. A quick wipe down with a detail spray like ECH2O removes any of the spots left behind by the wash.

My favorites are
P&S Pearl, highly concentrated and fairly inexpensive, great lubricity and suds
Adams Regular and Graphene Car Shampoo, both also have great lubricity and can use in direct sun
Car Pro reset on my coated vehicles is still awesome.

Reset is still my favorite. There could be others I'd like but since Reset works so well, I feel like I don't need to buy something else to try, just keep using what works for me.

Currently rotating these two:

-Meguiar's Hyper-Wash D110-
Extremely economical, highly concentrated, pleasant watermelon scent, lubricious - you can't ask more for a quality ph soap.

-Gyeon Bathe-
Little more costly but still a great soap. Not as viscous as Hyper-Wash but just as lubricous. Great scent. Its like giving your a car a luxurious bath.

For me, I use CarPro Reset before a detail or if I'm going to apply new protection on a vehicle. I do not use Reset for maintenance washes even though its rated as a ph soap.

I would like to eventually try Koch Chemie GSF as soon as I'm done with these soaps.

You REALLY need to invest in a good dual-tank deionizer system. Yes it can be expensive but it is so worth it. Your car washing experience will change dramatically. I bought one 2 years ago and will never go back to non-filtered water.

I may try Bathe at some point. Bathe Essence was horrible.

I ve used car pro reset for the longest time. Its a nice soap for coated vehicles but it kind of lacks on cleaning ability , like there was been occasions where ONR took out some dirty spots while car pro reset did nothing , I've tried different dilutions and still got the same results. For the price I think its not the best product but its a decent soap

I changed to Optimum soap and its been better, bigger bottle , lower price and I think it actually cleans better

Would love to try hyperwash but they do not sell it in my area

Hyper Wash is my go-to......

But don't sleep on Griot's Brilliant Finish car wash. It is an excellent soap.

Meguiar's hyper wash checks all the boxes for me

-Economical
-Cleans well
-Rinses off easily
-Suds up nicely in a bucket and performs very well in a foam cannon
-Doesn't leave behind anything that will interfere with your LSP. I've actually witnessed hyper wash unclog a coating that I thought was a dud (M37 v2).

I have some Meg's on the way....thanks for the heads up....:xyxthumbs:

Once I use up my 3D Pink, I'll get Hyper Wash especially now that see it's at HF
