What polish and wax? Friends new car..

I would go for menzerna PO106ff and and maxwax if its metallic paint! Pinnacle SIG series II is nice to!! Ultimate mitt is a good washing mitt!

Thanks for quick reply! Yes it's metallic. But I forgot to mention he don't want do spend a "fortune".. :p He thought the Menzerna was a bit to expensive.. Any other recommendations?

What kind of polisher will he use? Or by hand?

If not Menzerna, Opitmum Compound and Opitmum Polish are excellent. Metallic Paint - Max Wax or Sig Series II.

XMT is good too, but yeah Max Wax, Signature Series II or liquid Souveran. Those would be my choices. :)

:iagree: plus some clay.

If doing by hand get Enizsett 1Z metalic polish....one of the best polishes when doing by hand.....then top with a wax of choice.....

use a terry applicator (offers more cut) or a MF one....do a section at a time....then wax it.....

Do you mean this?: 1Z Einszett Metallic Polish Wax Free Bonus!
I also love the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran wax, but any other recommendations for wax? Thought we could try something else for fun.. Do some testing.. ;) hehe

Menzerna nor optimum will be good by hand. Maybe 106FF, but I wouldnt do an entire car by hand either way! For waxes look into DP Max Wax or Pinnacle Sig Series II.

1Z is one of the few polishes that work good by hand....

yes you would use the 1Z metalic polish and then top with your wax of choice....the 1Z does leave a wax behind..but wold not count on it being a long laster...
That is 1Z's claim to fame ..its works very good by hand....do not expect it to do serious corrections...but it will if used right take spider webs out..and marring....and light scratches...its a very good polish....they had a pro version of it...and it is still around here in the states..thats a real nice polish....cuts a little better and does not have any wax in it..its a synthetic resin protection...and a sealant can be used over it....
