I was using leather cleaner and conditioner for the longest on my leather. Although after I found out my leather is coated I gave up, it seemed like a waste of money to me. I now clean with APC and protect with 303 aerospace. I am looking for an alternative to 303, since it leaves the surface slippery, even after I buff it off. Do you guys even put on a protectant or simply clean and let be?

Leather masters is a good choice for coated, and all types of leather

CarPro Fabric & Leather. IME outlasts anything else out there for the enthusiast.

The Poorboys leather stuff is nice and finishes matte for the most part, It spreads easy and is more watery than the CG leather cleaner/conditioner 1 bottle. It's also less shiny than the CG

Been using Optimum Leather Protectant (aka Protectant Plus) Optimum Protectant Plus offers complete protection for interior leather, vinyl, plastic & rubber dressing. vinyl and rubber dressing, vinyl on my VW coated leather for 8 years now and it still looks like the day I picked up the car. It's very easy to use as it is also suitable for vinly also-so you can do the entire interior with one product.

Once a year give it a good cleaning with mild APC, protect with Leather Protectant 3 or 4 times a year and inbetween wipe down with distilled water and let it dry naturally on the leather to hydrate. Simple, easy and very effective.
