What products/brands should Autogeek carry in 2016?

Also in addition to my previous suggestion, "Soft 99" for those that love millions of tiny beads from their LSP's.

I would like to see a Garage lighting section. I am thinking of doing a major upgrade in lighting and heating for my garage next winter. I a leaning towards a pellet stove for heat and Led lighting. I still need to do my homework though. I saw an LED cordless light somewhere that had clamps on each end and it lit up a whole interior very well. I need something like that.

Pro® Products...

What PRO products do you use Bob? I get my cleaners etc through my distributor but I wouldn't say any of their polishes etc are quality. Honestly I think it would be a shame if AG sold their products being that they are production quality. I do however love their APC, Premo, Bug Remover, and Prime Shine.

I doubt they ever going to have it in stock, but I'm so itching to try it.

Some of their specialty products.
No polishes.

^^^OK^^^

Yet, to me, your below sentiment then seems
to be a little bit on the contradictory side.

You wouldn't want people, that aren't serviced
by jobbers, to have an opportunity to purchase
some of this Brand's products from AGO?

Production quality?
Here are just a few of the "production quality"
Brands sold at AGO...and this doesn't
even include specialty-products Brands:
-Menzerna
-Meguiar's
-3M
-FinishKare
-Optimum
-Sonax

NU-FINISH!!!!!......................... Totally Just Kidding!

1. Garage Lighting

2. Microfibers ----- Again, AG's are great quality, but TRC's prices are better.

3. And LOVE. We just wanna be Loved Man! ....... again totally kidding!

Again, I'm interested in what specialty products you're referring to.

I honestly only use PRO products because I'm a business. I get APC at $50 for a 5 gallon and degreaser at $350 for a 55 gallon. I don't believe these products are the same quality as those already sold at AG but the difference is not enough to warrant the lower my profit margins. And if you purchase the PRO products in 1 gallon or smaller they are near the same price as if you just buy the DP, Megs, etc. already offered at AG.

All the brands you listed are way beyond what PRO offers. Have you tried their AIOs, compounds, wash soaps, etc? It's just my opinion, but I think PRO brand products are below AG standards.

Again, I did say I use some of their products, but only because the quality difference in cleaners is not enough to warrant the cost difference when buying in large quantities. There is one product however from PRO that AG should look into, and that is their Leather Cleaner, smells great and cleans just as well.

Polish Angel...your sister site carries it so not a real big deal.

I just bought some from Superior Car Care site on a major blow out sale. I'm looking froward to giving the PA system a whirl.

LED workshop Lighting
Work Platforms
Safety Equipment
More items in bulk qnty

The list goes on and on...

From a business perspective, I have been doing all the Quicken year end stuff, and it's a whole lot easier when everything comes from one supplier.
Especially when trying to break out supplies vs depreciable assets.

Pretty hard to compete against The Home Depot and Lowe's on that stuff. And I can say that with some confidence since The Home Depot acquired the company I work for 6 months ago. I can sell all that stuff now, and no way can they get the prices of an $85 Billion dollar company. Or deal with shipping that kind of stuff economically. People already b***h about shipping costs on the products they carry. Imagine trying to ship a work platform or led lighting etc. when you can just go down the street and buy it for less at a big box store.

I sold a floor buffer yesterday, beat out Global Industrial because mine shipped for free on our truck from our warehouse and they wanted $135.00 for shipping because they had to ship via carrier. That's a great example of what I'm referring too.

That's also why HD bought us, 1000 sales reps, 70 warehouses and 700 trucks running around the US every day. They want to tap into our market place.

AG is excellent at what they do, top notch. The hardware space is a whole different story.

But hey Nick, if you're listening I can always set you up, let you tap into some of our buying power, we have a location in Pompano :dblthumb2:

I've used their car shampoo and H20 Guard & Gloss. Both are good products but not necessarily distinguishable from several other products you can get here.

I believe it.

One more for shop lighting and IR lamps. I'd love to see some Shine Supply stuff too if possible.

Better priced better quality microfiber. I buy Poorboys dmt and microfiber madness when I see a sale I stock up. Last buy was 200 towels. I'm good for now but you guys really miss the boat on this. I've tried some of your towels as a small buy. They are ok but way too much money for what you get.

Valet Pro and Bilt Hamber for me. Also more of the Dodo juice line would be nice.
